Hannibal Barca stands as one of the greatest military strategists in history. As the leader of Carthage’s forces during the Second Punic War (218–201 BCE), he masterminded audacious campaigns against the Roman Republic, including his legendary crossing of the Alps with war elephants. His tactics and battlefield genius continue to be studied and admired to this day. Early Life and Rise to Power Hannibal was born in 247 BCE in Carthage (modern-day Tunisia), the son of the respected Carthaginian general Hamilcar Barca. Hamilcar instilled a deep-seated hatred of Rome in his son, reportedly making him swear an oath to never befriend the Romans. This animosity drove Hannibal’s military career and fueled his determination to challenge Rome’s supremacy. China, officially the People's Republic of China, is a country in East Asia. It's population as of 2021 was 1.412 billion. China is the hub of technological inventions and a world superpower. Here are some interesting facts about China you most likely did not know.

1.      China was discovered by Marco Polo.

2.      There are 9,999 rooms in the Forbidden city. It is so because according to Chinese beliefs, only the God of Heaven could be entitled to 10,000 rooms.

3.      Half of the worlds pigs are in China.\

4.      KFC has over 7,100 outlets over 1,600 cities across China ( as of 2021).

5.      China produces 80 billion disposable chopsticks annually.

6.      Toilet paper was invented in China, but was only used by the Emperor.

7.      The Great Wall of China was constructed over the period of 20 centuries.

8.      China believes in unlucky numbers, which is why number 4 is usually skipped in their numbering system.

9.      All panda's are owned by China. Any other panda in any other country on a loan. Beijing used Panda's since the 1950s as a part of its Panda Diplomacy Program. China also takes back the panda's when the relationship sours.

10.  Only about 120 million Chinese own international passport, which is about 8% of the population. Apparently the 'Japa' syndrome is not prevalent.
